Made for 1-Button Jam 2024. Activate the pyramids shield (dome) to defend against the waves of attacking bugs. Once the shield is fully depleted, it cannot be activated again until fully charged. 

Controls: any button recognized by PICO-8: z, x, arrows, mouse click, etc

Awesome!! Pretty difficult at first, but it's engaging enough to make you start again until you win! (being able to restart quickly is great)

And I love the atmosphere, which reminds me of 8bits games like Bomberjack.
